Rhodes Wins First Trial
August 23, 2010

Last week, associate Latisha "Tish" Rhodes successfully defended a claim for personal injury and property damage by a driver involved in an accident with an ambulance. The firm's client, a national ambulance and emergency transport service, was accused of reckless driving while on an emergency call. Plaintiff claimed the ambulance's lights and sirens were not on prior to and at the time of the accident. Through testimony and by documentary evidence, Tish was able to prove plaintiff's theory to be without merit. Tish was assisted in her preparation and at trial by partner Bart McNiel.

Tish joined the firm in 2009 after having worked for the firm as a summer associate a year earlier. She practices in the areas of Employment Litigation and Workers' Compensation, General Liability Defense, and Insurance Coverage and Extra-Contractual/Bad Faith Claims.
